Sockets: On the back of each socket, there is a 10 switch dipswitch the same as Fig 1. Switches A – E represent the frequency code and switches 1 – 5 represent the channel selection the remote control will operate it on.
The frequency code needs to be set to the same as the remote control. (See below) The socket from Fig 1 will operate when channel 2 is pressed on the remote control.
Remote Control: On the remote control, there is a 5 switch dipswitch the same as Fig 2 representing the frequency code in the battery compartment. Select any combination ensuring it is set to the same code on both remote control and sockets. If the dipswitch “ B and C” is down (“ON”) in your remote control, then dipswitch “ B and C” must be down (“ON”) in your sockets. The remote control from Fig 2 will control all the sockets set to frequency code E.
Example Two bedside lamps are individually plugged into Radiplug sockets set on channel 4.
When channel 4 is pressed on the remote control, both lamps will turn on and off together at the same time. You can use as many sockets as required on the same channel.
If there is interference from other Remote control sockets nearby, simply change the frequency code for the sockets and the remote control.
